Dr De Leon is the best Internal Medicine/General Practitioner in the area which is why I switched to being a patient of his about 8 years ago. I called on him as a pharma rep from 2001-2006 and observed him in action as a practitioner, a father, a husband, an employer and a super busy doctor who had to meet with many reps in order to sign for our samples so that his patients can try our meds to see if they work for them before spending money on filling their prescription. I have always seen him in a great mood and consistently treat others, no matter who they are, with the utmost respect, kindness and concern for their well being.....this is why I had to become one of his patients. I also drive over 30 miles one way to get there. Although our health is OUR responsibility, part of this responsibility is choosing the best providers of healthcare that we can afford. Dr. De Leon's high standard of care made my choice very easy. I am writing this because I recently came back from a… trip on the West coast with an infection on my leg from a cut I got while hiking. Like most of us, especially us males, I did the quick rinse of cut & neosporin thing which did not work so infection set in. Wifey gave me the eye and the "you better go see your doctor lecture". So I called and his friendly staff were able to work me in the same day! He diagnosed the problem within seconds and gave me the necessary medicine to heal quickly. I was very happy because I also did not have to go to an immediate care center which costs more money and time!

Dr DeLeon has been my Doctor since 1993. I have had courteous and efficient care every since that first visit! Vickie Umstead ARNP is awesome and has assumed caring for my daughter since becoming an adult. If I have ever had an issue it was quickly resolved. I understand Dr DeLeon has added 2 additional ARNP'S that will be an asset to his practice!

Everyone was really nice. Dr DeLeon was great. First time I actually like going to the doctor.
