Ernest Tengwe Keyaka, NP, PMHNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC

An accomplished nurse practitioner, Ernest Keyaka, NP, PMHNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, plays an integral role at E and B Behavioral and Medical Clinic in Silver Spring, Maryland. With a passion for personalized care, Ernest loves working one-on-one with patients to help them improve their health and wellness. Expanding and enriching his educational experience has always been important to Ernest. He entered nursing as a licensed practical nurse through Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida, then earned his associate’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, New York. Ernest then completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Phoenix University in Fairfax, Ohio, before earning his Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also holds a certificate in psychiatric mental health from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Through nearly two decades of nursing practice, Ernest has amassed an impressive body of skills. His roles include work with …disability and chronic illness care, geriatric medicine, hospice care, and psychiatric care and support. Ernest finds his work deeply rewarding and especially enjoys helping patients find ways to make meaningful lifestyle improvements that improve their quality of life. As part of the E and B Behavioral and Medical Clinic team, he feels a strong responsibility for empowering those in his community to take an active role in shaping their health destinies.
