Dr. Ernest P Larios, DDS

I was a patient with this dentist when I was a teenager. At the time his kid was just starting college. I had had perfect teeth with no history of problems, but all of a sudden at that time I was diagnosed with two cavities. His diagnosis came from some infrared machine he uses with questionable sensitivity and specificity. My parents didn’t know better and had him drill those teeth and fill in the cavities. A few months later he used the same machine to diagnosed 4 more “cavities”. We became skeptical and looked for a second opinion. Two other dentists told me my teeth were fine and I have no problems. Fast forward 10 years later I am now a physician and still have not had any problems with my teeth except pain from the ones he drilled and those fillings falling out. As a healthcare professional, I now see what he did to me as malpractice. I don’t know what the circumstances were but I have no doubt financial incentives with his kid being in college were at play. This man will drill… for gold if you let him.
