Dr. Ernest J. Whittle received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Washington in Seattle in 1977. He attended University of Southern California in Los Angeles, graduating with his DDS degree in 1981. Upon graduation he went into practice with Dr. John H. Duxbury in Riverside, Connecticut. When Dr. Duxbury retired in 1983, he turned his practice over to Dr. Whittle. In 1987, Dr. Whittle purchased a practice from Dr. Theodore Merolla in Old Greenwich, CT and combined it with Dr. Duxbury’s. He has been practicing at this location ever since!
In 2001, following the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center, Dr. Whittle underwent training in Dental Forensics and became a member of DIRT (Dental Identification Recovery Team) for the State of Connecticut’s emergency response teams.
