Dr. Ernesto R Drelichman, MD

I was diagnosed with colon cancer and referred to Dr Drelichman. He was extremely informative and very caring. Performed successful surgery and his follow up included getting me a home health care nurse. Great explanation of the entire process.

Un-needed hernia surgery suggested. Showed up to hospital and they had forgotten to put me on surgery schedule. STRESS taking off weeks of work to find you aren't on the OR list today. Had to wait all day and was an "add on"; the last surgery of the day. Pre-Op was empty of patients and RNs. Was shaved all the way up my chest for a lower abdomen surgery. Was whisked back to OR and woke up in PACU 45 minutes later in level 10 pain. Was discharged home. Follow up appointments and complaints fell on deaf ears. "Hernia" never hurt before, not sure why it needed surgical intervention. I am now post op 9 months and am in pain every single day. My qualify of life has diminished. I will never use this Doctor again. Very curt, poor bedside manner, little to no follow up concerns.

Dr Ernesto drelichman and sue his nurse practitioner are so beautiful they are beautiful people and very concerned about your overall health before and after my surgery they have been angels thank you Dr drelichman and Sue I am recovering very well from having colon cancer

Great bedside manner, compassionate. He is very thorough and performed my surgery with expertise and care. He fixed mistakes made by my previous doctor from University of Michigan.

A really talented surgeon with surprisingly good bedside manner. Highly recommend.

Very kind and helpful. Rather than rush into major surgery, he's willing to do surgery in stages. Excellent surgeon. Surgical site is very clean and even.

My appointment was at 3, I did not see the dr until 4 and then he only spent 5 to 10 mins with me. Prescribed me a cream, did not tell me how long to use it for or when to call if it didn't work. I won't be going back.

Be very careful. I don't think he is a bad person but he is not a good surgeon. He operated twice on my husband and he is still not fixed and has a bag. We mistook his bedside manner for his skill as a surgeon....we were wrong!....Do yourself and family members a favor and do your research!
