Dr. Ernesto M. Fernandez, MD

My children are now grown. My son Eric was Dr. Ernie's first patient at Clinical Pediatrics. He took over the position from Dr. McKinney, who was my pediatrician as a child. I was so upset Dr. McKinney was retiring, but the first thing Dr. Ernie did was smile at my 1 year old and pick him up. He was gentle and caring and I was sold on him as a doctor. He took care of my boys for 27 and 21 years. I am sad we are at the end of our time under his care. He was great when my oldest had pneumonia and when my youngest first came down with asthma. The staff is great and I can't recommend their care more highly.

We love Dr. Ernie! He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Ernie is exceptionally dedicated to his patients and his profession. His staff is great too.

My son has had Type I Diabetes for 16 years, and we have been to 3 different doctors during that time. We have used Dr.Fernandez for 10+ years, and he is the best. Expected my son to take on responsibility for his Diabetes, while encouraging him when he slipped. I'm sad that he only sees Pediatric cases, or I would never change doctors. He runs Camp Sweeney, so sometimes it is tough to see him around the summer time. Well worth it though!
