I was seen by Dr. Lopez when my regular physician, Dr. Sloan, was unavailable. I was so impressed with his knowledge and the amount of time he spent getting to know me and my extensive medical history that I decided to continue seeing him. Scheduling appointments with him is very easy and he remains reasonably on time considering the amount of time he spends with his patients. I recommend him wholeheartedly. He's very kind and compassionate.

My Doctor had recently moved on from Midtown Medical Center, so they automatically booked me with Dr. Lopez. I've now met him twice. I do not recommend - I will not be going back. He's not the worst, but visits were fairly quick & he was a bit dismissive in his demeanor and for some strange reason, wouldn't allow me to have a copy of my own bloodwork, which I like to retain to track trends over the years. I believe he's required to provide this info by law if I request it, but I wasn't going to argue with him - after multiple requests, he flat out said no, because he felt the information would be too confusing for me. I don't recommend him. Additionally, the bloodwork indicated I had a vitamin D deficiency and he had no interest in discussing what could be causing that, despite me never having that issue and having a heathy diet, etc. Instead, he just prescribed me a vitamin supplement, even though I take one already and he said they wouldn't help. ?? Last - the… overall thoroughness of the physical examination was weak at best - no EKG, he never listened to my heart, lungs, didn't check reflexes, never looked at my throat, eyes or ears, etc. He simply took my blood pressure and nothing else. I don't recommend him. I will search for someone new.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ernesto M. Lopez for many years. He is a doctor not only with extraordinary experience and professional skills, but also with compassion and understanding. He has educated me with practical and real knowledge on all of my medical needs. He has been a great inspiration in me changing my lifestyle and I have been able to enhance my quality of health and life. To sum it up: Dr. Ernesto M Lopez is AWESOME!!!!
