Dr. Ernesto Pruna

My family and I have seen Dr. Pruna for the last 5yrs. He is professional, knowledgeable and extremely knowledgeable. He has treated our family with one of the best, bedside manner I've ever experienced. Spending all the time it took to educate me and my children about our injuries or conditions and how to resolve each of them. Advising us as to what the long and short-term medical treatment plan and goals were. Then he followed up with us frequently to ensure that those goals were reached, and the problems resolved timely. Treating, with Dr. Pruna provides my family with peace of mind. As he makes our family, my parents and our children feel safe and secure. I'm always confident that he will determine what is wrong, provide us with a diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan that we can complete safely and quickly to get us back to a normal healthy life. The personal touch and time that he spends to explain and educate you on what is wrong and how it will be treated and resolved are… invaluable. Most doctors I've seen in the past act as if they do not have the time to listen and discuss your care. Not the case here. We are the most important and only thing he is concerned with when we are in his exam room. That brings us great peace.

This doctor was assigned to me via Obamacare. Went to see him on a follow up for plantar fasciitis. He did another EKG (which I had done the week before and was fine), and he ordered an MRI of my abdomen with no explanation, he didn't even examine my abdomen. He demonstrated that I had to stretch my foot against the wall as he said "I want you to do this" and he said we would talk about inserts for my shoes. He left, the girl came in and gave me the second EKG and the referral for the MRI. He had moved on to his next patient. So, I went in with a medical problem and I left with the same medical problem, with the only help him giving me was "do this". I never heard the word Podiatrist come from his mouth once. It seems he speaks very little english. I would speak to him in english and he would answer briefly in broken english but would always revert back to spanish, some of which I could not understand. After waiting in the lobby for almost 2 hrs, I had to wait at least… another hour and a half in the exam room before he came in. He said he had 7 patients before getting to me. I couldn't help but feel I was having to take tests that were unnecessary and totally unrelated to the problem I was presenting to him. I'm redoing my medical insurance for 2015 and will NEVER step into that clinic again. If I could give -4 stars I would.

Great doctor, hes caring compasin, sweet and may i say good looking. Took a long time but over all, well worth the wait.
