I've been going to Dr. Umana for several years now. He always has an excellent bedside manor. He is always very thorough. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Umana is one of the very few doctors that have called me to explain something or to ask a question. Very personable and very thorough.

This doctor may be very good with patients that have health insurance but, those like myself who have no insurance he is very rude and doesn't mind to tell you that he does-not work on a free basis and resents any other doctor who sends patients to him knowing he does-not care to work freely. When he finds you do not have health insurance, he right away tells you he will see you this one time and one time only, and in his opinion no matter what condition you are in, you are normal in his opinion. For people who don't have means to pay this doctor up front or have no health insurance, I would definitely avoid seeing him.
