Dr. Ernst Bontemps, MD

After waiting for 6 months to get an appointment, I received a call from the Dr's office, 1 week before my long-waited appointment date They were notifying me to cancel my appointment because I saw his partner over 10 years ago for non-related issue. When I questioned why they waited six months before contacting me to cancel - she said have a good day sir and hung up on me. Should this not have been asked when making the appointment. UNPROFESSIONAL and a testament to how they care for people.

The staff is unbelievably rude!

It took a month and a half to schedule a follow up appointment after an outpatient procedure I had with them. They were making fun of an elderly woman in the waiting room. Very poor bedside manners. Take your health into your own hands- go somewhere else!

I have nothing negative to say . Dr Bontemps is very thorough, he listens, doesn’t rush the appointment, friendly, sense of humor, yet professional . His staff including the PA’s are excellent and very accommodating .

Dr. Bontemps helped save my husband’s life from a horrible infection. He is persistent and never gave up. While “watching over” my husband, he continued to figure out how to cure him of a c diff infection that nearly took my husband s life. Dr. Bontemps is so smart and compassionate, too.

Competent, supportive staff and a skilled and knowledgeable doctor. And I always get in on time or (shock) early!

When you're in pain and looking for help, the last thing you want is an unpleasant voice on the end of the phone you're calling. I recently moved to St. Petersburg and know no doctors. I spent the day in the ER with horrible stomach pain and was advised to see a gastroenterologist. I called my Insurance number & was given this office. Tasha...could have been a lot more compassionate and helpful...instead of being unpleasant and unkind.

One of the best doctors I have seen.

No concerns with doctor or staff I would rate my experience with them as excellent
