Dr. Errol Bryce, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Bryce for 7 years. My mother referred me to him. He is truly concerned with your overall health and well being. For those who complain about him offering alternatives to prescriptions, he does that because he knows the patient’s personal choices have placed them in the position they’re in. Common sense should tell us all that there are ways to be healed other than medicine. It’s not like he doesn’t prescribe medications, he makes the best decision medically for his patients. He has the medical degree and knows what to do. He’s a Christian man that offers more than just an office visit. He is concerned with your total well being and living a healthy life. He’s an awesome choice for a doctor.

I like Dr Bryce very much, however his office staff are below par. They are unpleasant, behave like they are doing you a favor when what they are doing is their job. They speak using demeaning word choice and a poor tone very unprofessional. I am seriously considering finding another PCP due to the poor treatment I've received in his office and over the phone from his staff.

In my search for a new primary care physician, Dr. Bryce was recommended to me by a family member. Suffice it to say, I am VERY grateful for this recommendation. Over multiple visits with Dr. Bryce, he has impressed me with his calm, unhurried demeanor that allows him to to truly LISTEN to his patients -- a trait hard to find these days in a doctor. I have also been very impressed by his "pills last" philosophy, desiring to resolve certain conditions (such as my hypertension) naturally with diet and exercise rather than immediately prescribing medications. Such a welcome change! Overall, if you're in need of a new primary care physician, I can't recommend Dr. Bryce highly enough.

My 1st few visits with Dr. Bryce I was very impressed, however, in subsequent visits I have not been impressed at all and I'm now looking for another doctor. He told me to come back twice for a problem noted 3 visits ago (luckily my insurance does not require a referral so I can get the skin cancer removed elsewhere!) Last time I made the appointment mostly to discuss an issue he created by changing my medication dose without telling me on the 3 month refill. Although I found reliable research on the web ... he wouldn't even look at it stating other doctor's might do that but he wouldn't. He carries an orange book that he refers to - but I have no idea how credible that reference is. In short, beware. He can be charming, but will often deny a referal to enrich himself while you wait for care for 6 weeks or more to get an appointment. He'll sell you personal seminars instead of answer questions that a doctor should answer in an appointment and last time I asked him about diet,… tried to sell me a book I could get $7 cheaper from Amazon. If these things don't bother you - then he's just great. These things bother me and I feel I should get something besides "come back another time"for my co-pay.

I've been taking my 85 year old mother to Dr. Bryce for many years. My only complaint is the wait time. He's very caring and is very responsible when looking for drug interactions. She has a multitude of serious health problems and I have no qualms about bringing her to him. His nursing staff is superb and totally cooperative and helpful. We couldn't ask for more.

Dr Bryce care of me seemed to be personal and I feel he loves his patients and goes the extra length for them. We have attended seminars where he has brought in other profesionals to provide information for a healthy way of life

This is a physician that's totally inconsiderate, money hungry, and has no compassion for his older patients. He looks at his elderly patients as an age rather than a person. He has no consideration for the feelings of his elderly patients. My grandmother is an 89 year old CHF patient that sees him.On her last visit she was told that she would need to be started on Coumadin, which he described to her as RAT POISON. He's been her PCP for many years now and after many years of him stating that she wouldn't live long we are no changing PCP's. I would not recommend this PCP to anyone unless your main interest is paying his bills.

Medicare/Medicaid patients and/or their caregivers must always actively participate in a patient's care. Doctors have too many patients and mistakes can be made. Blood pressure medicine was prescribed for the invalid I care for, although his blood pressure is usually too low and only high when he is upset or in pain, as he is at doctor's appointments. I didn't know it had been prescribed until it was given to me at the pharmacy when I went to pick up another prescription. Unfortunately, Dr. Bryce must take the responsibility, but thank goodness I caught the mistake. Again, double check everything. Unfortunately, Medicare/Medicaid doctors must have a high patient count to stay in practice and cannot be expected to take a genuine personal interest in each and every one. It's so sad, but so true.

Thank God my wife made me switch Doctors! Dr. Bryce is the real deal. A Doctor among Doctors, he and his staff have convinced me that I am in great hands. Proffesional, courteous, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He has set the bar for all MD's. He doesn't talk down to me, and I can sum him up in two words that mean everything to me when dealing with a Doctor . . "He Cares"!

He is very caring person.
