Errol H. Rushovich, MD

I was sixteen and extremely ill with Graves‘ disease. So ill that I missed 96 days of school where I had previously had perfect attendance. Dr. Rushovich was so kind, he explained everything (before my diagnosis I didn’t even know what a thyroid was) and he treated my disease successfully. He sincerely cared and was quick to call us with test results and to move forward with treatment. I will forever be grateful for his role in my life. That was 22 years ago. I am now happily married with five children and enjoy excellent health. I am very pleased to see that Dr. Rushovich is doing well in Maryland.

Excellent Doctor. Very caring and does not rush appointments. Spends as much time with you as you need. Follows up with phone calls AND letters to see how you are doing. When receiving lab results, he calls immediatly with any concerns regardless of the time. He doesn't just work during 'normal' business hours. He can seem a bit scatter-brained at times, but he is very thorough and clearly an expert in his field. All other doctors and hospital staff members in every department at Mercy Medical Center speak very highly of him and have nothing but high praises when speaking of him. He has been treating me for Graves' Disease for 2 years now and I feel very lucky to be a patient of his.
