He really listens and works with you and your meds until you can find the right combination. He's very easy to talk to and always responds promptly to emails.

I have been seeing this Dr for over 10 years

Dr. Segal does not care about his patients. He makes small talk and doesn't listen to the patient. The only thing he wants is to listen to himself talk. Pompous!

This doctor just does not care, he wants you in and out of his office as quickly as possible. If you make it past 15 minutes of his time.. good job. I have not been able to get my thoughts across with how I'm doing on my medication barely ever. If you need an urgent appointment, you are looking at waiting 4-6 weeks. Looking elsewhere, he's a joke!

Dr Segall is a nice, friendly guy who is always willing to help, teach, and counsel.

I have been going to Dr. Segall for several years now and have found him to be attentive and caring. I had been seeing another doctor prior to Dr. Segall for 10 years and I had to leave due to his unwillingness and refusal to reduce my medications. This particular doctor had me in a zombie state most of the time. When I left, I got no phone call from him or any follow up to find out what the problem(s) may have been. With Dr. Segalls guidance and care, I was able to cut down on my meds by almost 2/3 over the last few years. He cares about my feelings and listens to my worries and concerns and gives me feedback. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Segall seemed nice as long as I did not need anything. I needed a letter from him in order to get my insurance coverage extended. He wouldn't do it. It was cruel and heartless. How could a shrink be like thst? I now have no health insursance and have to pay $300/month for Zyprexa. He even refused to give me any samples to help me. Avoid him at all cost.
