Dr. Ervin A Hire Jr, MD

It is difficult to imagine any harder message to receive than a diagnosis of cancer. I was originally told I would only need radiation. A short time later, it was recommended I undergo chemotherapy as well. I was devastated. I can't imagine having to go through that with any better doctor or more wonderful person than Dr. Ervin Hire. He is kind and gentle even when having to deliver hard news. He spends all the time required to meet your needs, never rushing. He instills confidence in your ability to get through whatever your program requires of you. He is very professional and always up to date on what is happening in oncology. I was so sorry to see him leave Northern Michigan and delighted to have him back!
