Dr. Seywerd has been addressing my sinus issues for years and performed surgery a few years ago on my not so useful nose. Since then I have actually slept thru the night regularly and have very few sinus issues. He has always been kind and able to address any issues that have arisen in an efficient manner. I never minded waiting in his waiting room as he always took his time once my turn came to see him. In a time when doctors rush to move on to the next patient and large turn overs of general practitioners, he was a breathe of fresh aire. I am unclear as to the reason he has closed but it saddens me to see him leaving.

Great medical knowledge,bedside manner, time spent on my medical problems with my ears, fine follow up except for last one. I was notified by newspaper that he was closing his practice so I was left confused.

I have struggled with sinusitis for approximately 20 years. I FINALLY found a family doctor that listened to my concerns and referred me to Dr. Seywerd. He listened to my concerns and after examining me - he decided surgery was the best route (since I had tried everything else). This is the BEST gift I have ever given to myself. I can finally breathe for the first time in 20 years and no more sinus infections -so I am finally off antibiotics! Thank you Dr. Seywerd!!!

Dr. Seywerd is a kind, knowledgeable man. The wait is because of his willingness to take his time and not let his patients feel hurried through their appointments. The staff is a little rough around the edges with their extremely casual attire and the presence of not just one dog. The waiting room is cluttered, dusty and outdated but entertaining with it's interesting collections. A recent phone call resulted in being put on hold only to then be transferred to the answering service who then claimed they were closed for the day. Upon showing up for a recent pre-op appointment, I found the doors locked and was told by the answering service that they were closed for the weekend. Dr. Seywerd, having been told by hospital staff of the issue, made the situation right. Excellent Dr., he just needs to re-evaluate his front end.

My first visit today was all very positive. Dr. Seywerd is an extremely caring, kind man as well as a very knowledgeable physician. His office staff appears to be very busy. I found them to be caring and effective workers. While the doctor gets 4 stars the staff gets 3 (3 is still very good in my opinion). Highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Seward is a true specialist how puts you the patient first. He got my diagonice right and has being sure to follow up on my progress. He has a grate staff how go out of there way to make being seen convenient working around my hour es. I highly recommend him to anyone.

We had a great experience with Dr Seywerd. He put tubes in my sons ears and we have been very happy with the outcome of surgery. He is skilled and knowledgeable in his profession. I would recommend him to others.

This doctor spends enormous time with all his patients. It is worth the wait. He listens and tries to understand what the problem is. His hours are from 530 in the morning so patients do not miss work five days a week and he works weekends if necessary. He does house calls too. His receptionist is jugling a lot of different jobs. Checking people in, booking appointments and dealing with insurance companies that do not want to okay investigations or pay for medications that are prescribed. He has a friendly nurse who is also working to manage the paper trail so that the doctor can be a doctor instead of being on the computer during the visit. He spent over one hour with me. Made sure that I understood where he was coming from and we had a treatment plan that made sense. THere is not a lot of that kind of care out there. People that are use to a fifteen minute appointment and go out of the office with a sheet of paper and confusion might want to rethink what kind of rude they… are talking about. Oh and that nurse, she helps people to the car, takes people home and also cleans toilets. What ever you say about this practice the fact is they all care. Do you know they even have a married couple who have worked for them since 1989 filing and greeting patients. They are in their 80's They have been accused of being rude as well. Come see for yourselves if you really want great care....

I had read some negative postings about the receptionist (rude, condescending) and during my phone calls and visit to the office I found this to be the case. Sadly, this person is irritated with people in general. I tried not to take it personally, but her level of irritation is quite strong. I found Dr Seywerd to be the opposite: caring, knowledgeable, and polite. I hope he someday reminds the receptionist that there are many polite and qualified unemployed people that would welcome the opportunity to work at his practice. As it his, the receptionist does him a great disservice.
