At my first visit, she was thorough and spent a good amount of time listening and talking to me. I liked that about her. I did have a specific issue which I was seeing her for but after multiple visits, she was no longer taking my input into consideration. I am familiar with my medical condition and my own body but because Dr. Pokhrel is not yet very experienced, her lack of confidence has proven to be very expensive with unnecessary testing and a hesitancy to prescribe required medication at correct dosage. I decided to go back to my previous healthcare provider. She would be a great doctor for someone without a medical condition or for someone younger who just needs annual checkups.
