Dr. Escipion Pedroza, MD

I've had Hashimoto's for over 30 years now along with Sjogren's Syndrome. I was having some issues primary doctor could not correct so I made an appointment with Dr. Pedroza. He sat down and listened, I mean Really listened to me and went over all of my medical history and medications. He ordered labs and with those test results, changed my levothyroxine dose and added cytomel and finally he got my labs back on the normal level. I recommend Dr Pedroza highly!

Just tested positive for COVID and he is the doctor on call and he refused to call anything in as I was told “you have to wait until Monday and call the office” glad he is not my doctor!!!

Dr. Pedroza has been my Dr. for over 20 years He has taken my A1C readings from over 8 to an amazing 5.1 He is caring devoted and dedicated to provide the very best health care humanly possible I have just reccomnemneded by daughter to him for a complete Endocronoligy work up she loves him .His staff demonstrates the same caring and patience as he does Thanks Dr, Pedroza and to your wonderful staff of dedicated and hard working ladies, Tony Orlando

I have seen Dr Pedroza since 1998. He has a wonderful sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable in his presence. He’s highly intelligent and listens to his patients. I’m an ICU nurse and when I told him that I had a parathyroid tumor he said “Okay well let’s find out”. So, he ran the tests and sure enough I had a parathyroid tumor. He said “you were on the money, you should have become a doctor”. We both laughed and then recommended me to a wonderful surgeon that removed my tumor. I even take my Mom to see him for her Diabetes. She loves him as well. I’ve worked with Dr Pedroza as a nurse also. So, I see how he treats his patients that come to my ICU. He’s calm and caring and will sit down and talk to you. He doesn’t rush you and will always answer your questions. I highly recommend him. Adrianne

Dr. Pedroza has been my doctor since moving to the New Orleans area in 2009. He is the best doctor that I have ever seen. He is very professional (so is his staff) and attentive to his patients and their needs. Shows a lot of compassion to his patients. What I like about him is he takes his time explaining your medical concerns. He provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and he responses in simple English. Whenever I need refills his staff always assist me in a timely manner. The office/waiting room is always clean and neat. I rate him 5 stars. I have been with Dr Pedroza for about 10 years. he treats me for diabetes and thyroids. I am very pleased with his care. His staff has been very helpful when I need adjustments on my pump even if its after office hours. He also takes care of my husband. we both are very pleased.
