Dr. Esmeralda Arreola, MD

I've been attending this office for the past 15 years and every year is a struggle to get an appointment, call back, updated prescriptions or even common curiosity when dealing with her patients and thier time. Today was the final straw for me, I made an appointment for an allergic reaction due to the covid shot on my arm (Had to see in person to understand how far it spread into my chest area) and was told to be there by 1115 for an 1130 appointment, I did as I was told and after all the paperwork was done they said oh we called you a bit ago to cancel your appointment and do a phone appointment instead, I said okay well I didn't get that call and I'm physically here so she can understand the full picture along with the chest pains ect. They went to the back and said oh well she's on another appointment phone call and then we'll have to see if she's even willing to see you! I was like I'm confused as to why if you moved me to a phone appointment without every really calling me and… now she's on the phone with another appointment that would have been my time right? The lady just sat there staring at me saying ummmmm....I called Clovis Urgent care and was seen by an amazing Dr there who said without a doubt I needed to be seen in person especially with the arm numbness, bruising and extention into the chest cavity area. Officially getting a new physician that takes pride in actually treating the patient....

Dr. Arreola has been my doc for about 4 years. I like and agree with her approach to my healthcare needs. She always has an action plan and is thorough.

She's been my doctor for over 10 years. When I come in for my yearly exam, I always bring a list of issues. She is very patient and addresses all of them. 5 years ago I made an appt because I felt a lump in my breast. Got an appt right away. She referred me to get a mammogram, rather than ignore it. Within 2 weeks I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.

This doctor refused to see me because I was 5 minutes late for a 3 o'clock appointment and wanted to reschedule me for a later date. The whole reason for the appointment was to re-check an extremely high blood pressure reading (stroke range) that I had obtained from a Wellness Check at my place of employment. I had waited for this appointment for about 2 weeks because that was the earliest they could see me. I told them my concerns about the high readings but I guess it did not concern them as much. In fact, the office had me down as a new patient when I had been going there for several years. As I was talking to the office manager to try and rectify the situation, one of the other staff rudely butted into our conversation and tried to argue with me! Another staff offered to check with the doctor but found out she had already left the building. Instead, the office manager suggested I better go to Urgent Care and get it checked!

Dr. Arreola has been my most trusted physician for many, many years. I recently fell n was released from ER a few hours later. ER told me I was OK and to follow up with my GP. Dr Arreola examined me next day and sent me for CT. She called me immediately after receiving results and had me go directly to ER. Brain bleeds from TBI. Very likely saved my life. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Arreola has been my been my doctor since 2007, as well as my daughter's doctor. She is very thorough, listens and has always treated us with respect and compassion. If it was not for her, I would probably not be alive, as she took all the proper steps and procedures to diagnose a condition and referred me to specialist who immediately cared for me. I continue to be very grateful to her and having her as my doctor, and to my sister for referring her to me.

She was so rude and unprofessional! I am astounded she has been at this practice so long. I've been going there for 25 years and have never been so disrespected. Not only is she an awful doctor, she is an awful person. No compassion or empathy, the bedside manner was appalling. She would be much more suited as a mortician, where no actual human interaction takes place. Again shocked by this Dr. And her incompetence. She was also completely wrong and caused me to miss a day of work while I had to sort out the mess she caused. For shame. How do you sleep at night knowing you're scoffing at those who come to you sick and in need. It's disgusting really. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid her at all costs. Luckily I am in the medical field and will be able to do so daily.

Dr. Arreola has been my doctor for 13 years. Dr. Arreola has always been prompt, but at the same time spends as much time as you need answering all your questions or calming your fears. When my daughter's pediatrician left her practice, I was comfortable enough with Dr. Arreola seeing my daughter. Dr. Arreola makes the visits fun for my daughter and explains everything to me. I am so thankful that she is a general praticioner and will continue to go to Dr. Arreola's as long as she is praticing.

Dr. Arreola has the best "bedside manner" I've ever seen. She will spend as much time in your office visit as you feel you need, answering any/all questions you have and never making you feel like she's in a rush to get to the next appt or that your questions are dumb. She always listens patiently and is reassuring when you are worried, and helpful in directing you to a specialist.
