Dr. Esteban Gallego, MD

Been my doctor for several yrs. Rarely saw him. He was pleasant, super smart and I trusted him. Then I had many deaths and depression issues, things got out of whack and I was broken. Had no family /friends left and was a senior citizen suddenly isolated, alone and terrified. He suddenly became very important. He was not only my PCP, he became my main therapist, he was the only one who talked with me. He kept me as a patient, he found ways to better reach me and he let me know I mattered, he knew I was alone now. A doc I hardly knew became my hero in a white coat. He was literally the only person I had left, it did not scare him for me to depend on him more. He constantly changed up ways to help me and he gives me appts to just deal with helping me move forward. He allowed me to trust in him. He saved my life by sticking with me & helping me. We crossed our paths right at the time I was drowning, I was down for the count, he pulled me up. We continue to move forward, because he… pushed and tolerated me as I now am ready to begin to heal. He said he will be there for me through that too. Does it get any better? NO. He is my knight in a white coat.
