Y siempre es muy acertado y mi hijo está bien gracias a Él. Very disappointing experience with Dr. Esteban Poni (Immigration Physical) Dr. Esteban Poni is listed on the USCIS website as a civil surgeon authorized to perform immigration physicals. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely negative and caused an unnecessary delay in our immigration process. My husband and I scheduled our appointment almost four weeks in advance and came fully prepared. Prior to the visit, my husband received all vaccines recommended by USCIS specifically to expedite the process. We also brought his previous immigration physical completed in October 2025, which is still valid for two years, along with all supporting documentation, which we hand-delivered. Dr. Poni refused to review our paperwork and insisted that my husband receive additional vaccines that are not required by USCIS, stating that it would “look better on the application.” These vaccines were not required. I asked that he simply complete the immunization record and mark the non-required… vaccines as “not indicated,” which is acceptable per USCIS guidelines. He refused. During the visit, Dr. Poni appeared to be searching the requirements online, printed out a document labeled as an AI inquiry, and still did not follow the official USCIS civil surgeon guidelines. I attempted to explain that the requirements are clearly outlined on the USCIS website, but he would not reconsider. His office staff privately acknowledged that we were correct and stated that if the doctor believes he is right, no one can change his mind. Ultimately, the office returned our paperwork and told us that Dr. Poni would not complete the exam. Dr. Poni was rude, dismissive, and not up to date on current USCIS immigration medical requirements. His refusal to review official guidelines and existing valid documentation caused a significant and unnecessary delay in our case. Based on our experience, I do not believe he should be performing immigration medical exams.

He is one of the few physicians that listens, and treat you with respect. The staff was so efficient to get me appointment with other specialists in a very timely manner.

this doctor oh my goodness is such a good doctor. my daughter had problems and I had been with metro polotin clinic for years they were not helping me with my daughters condition and this doctor knew right away how to handle my situation I was so relived he made me feel so happy I always come out with a smile and the receptionist girls are so AMAZING they are the best I've seen in a long time it makes me not be afraid to go back to my clinic the hours are so flexible you call and those girls make it happen on the spot I recommend this clinic to everyone the girls are fantastic and so is Dr. Esteban s Pony.

Dr. Poni is great! He really cares and takes his time to listen as well as asking appropriate and necessary questions to get any issue to the root explained and create a plan of action. He's the perfect family doctor, especially for kids with the way he delicately and candidly treats the patient.
