Dr. Estee Pavlounis, MD

The Dr. was pleasant upon seeing her, unfortunately I brought a lump to her attention and she had order additional screening. When the lump came back malignant I never heard from her or anyone on her team. When someone is diagnosed with this, it is inconceivable that the doctor doesn't offer their support and follow up.

Wonderfully compassionate doctor. Listens, supportive and helpful. She has been my PCP for years. I was going through a stressful time at one moment in my life and took the time to find me the right specialist to get me through it. I highly recommend her. I do think that they over book her at times - not the doctor's fault - NYU Langone needs to look at their policies of how much to put on each doctor.

Excellent experience every time. The doctor is warm, attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and runs on time. She follows up on visits and issues in a timely way. Always a pleasure.

Nice enough, but constantly leaves appointments open online that she can’t actually accommodate. I’ve been a patient of hers for over three years and during that time, out of 4 appointments scheduled MONTHS in advance, she’s cancelled 2 of them (two separate times within the same year) with no warning to me or attempts to reschedule because she was “going on vacation.” When I try to reschedule, I’m told the front desk can’t help me find a time close to my original date that would work for her, and I’m stuck rescheduling my appointment for 6 months from the date — only for it to then be cancelled again! Needless to say I will no longer be seeing her as my physician — based on my personal experience + the other reviews here, it seems like she really does not care about her patients. What a shame.

I've had nothing but terrible experiences with her. I found a new doctor after a few appointments because I began to dread interacting with her in any way. She's rude, condescending, and not knowledgeable. She was outright mean to me when I tried to understand something and asked her a simple question about it. She answered in a cold, terse manner and stormed out of the room as if the visit was over. It was very shocking and unacceptable behavior - I only wish others could see how she treats her patients behind closed doors. There are too many good doctors in NYC to settle for someone who doesn't care about you and doesn't try to hide it.
