Dr. Estella Robinson, MD

My endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Robinson. My appt was for 3 pm. I received a call asking if I could change it to noon. I did. I showed up 11:50 and was the first patient there. I filled out the paperwork, they took my vitals and at about 1:15 they told me the doctor was not in yet and had not called. They asked me if I wanted to go get something to eat since they had not heard from her. They took my number and told me they would call me. By 3:00 I had not received a call and when I tried calling I would get the busy tone. I went back thinking their phones were not working. There were about a dozen women in the waiting room. They told me the doctor still was not there. I asked some of the women waiting if this was their first visit. They said no and that it was ALWAYS like this with very long waits. I asked, after 5:00 p.m., if the doctor was still expected to arrive, and the receptionist said yes. I checked the reviews and was that some people had stayed until… after MIDNIGHT. I WAS SHOCKED. She arrived about 6:30, most everyone had left except for a few of us. The doctor looked EXHAUSTED, like she could not even keep her eyes open. She asked me things like three times each, like she forgot the answer. She asked me to get dressed afterwards and then immediately walked in after that and told me not to get dressed because she forgot something. Once done, after 8 om, they made an appt for two weeks later. She told me she was going to send in a prescription for one thing and my pharmacy called me the next week to say there were no directions on how often to take this drug. I looked up the drug, it was not for what she told me she was going to prescribe. I called the office to find out what happened and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I called back in order to ask again and was told the medical assistant would call me. I will never return to this doctor.

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!" Not even worth it... My aunt had a appointment at 3pm and didn't leave til Midnight and my mom also has had bad experience there waiting to get seen after 6hrs she just ended up leaving in pain. Now that's Ridiculous!! I'm sure going to be submitting a Complaint to the Texas Medical Board. Complaints can also be made at the Attorney General Office..

Please don't see this doctor. Her office is managed so poorly it should be illegal. They have no idea where she is or when she'll arrive. She doesn't even get to the office until at least 5:00, but they schedule appointments for early afternoon. The result is that you may way 7 hours and not see the doctor until midnight. Or you may not see the doctor at all. No joke. It happened to my mother-in-law on 2 different visits. I have never written a review in my life, but this is so unacceptable I couldn't let it go. On top of all that, they had no idea why my MIL was even there in spite of my very specific instructions and several attempted phone calls by my MIL's oncologist to speak to the doctor so she would know what was needed during the appointment. Then she ordered many tests that were completely unnecessary, which she would have known if she had bothered to check her messages and/or call back the oncologist. She may have a great bedside manner and be sweet, but no one… deserves this type of treatment. I have to imagine there are better doctors in El Paso with better customer service. Please don't make the mistake we did, but making an appointment here. I would give 0 stars if I could.

The staff are very welcoming and jovial, however the lengthy wait to see Dr. E Robinson after your vitals had been taken was always long and frustrating, after 2 visits and a prolonged wait both times, I found a way around it which was groceries shopping to my appointment dates. Shopping was always at the ranch market or walmart after my vital signs had been taken and by the time I return, I would probably wait about 10 to 20 mins only and it would be my turn to see her. The best part of being cared for during your pregnancy be Dr. E Robinson is the reassurance and confidence with which you cine away each time. She discusses on you like you are the only person in earth it like the wash revolves around you. She is never in a hurry she patiently exam ed you in every way. Little wonder the waits are ling and they are worth it.

She is great explains everything to you. I will go back to her and have my second child with her. She speaks perfect Spanish and English

I WENT TO SEE DR. ROBINSON AND I WAS VERY ILL. SHE WORKS VERY LATE. SHE DID NOT SAY SHE COULD NOT SEE ME. SHE TOOK ME IN. SHE BASICALLY SAVED MY LIFE. SHE HELPED ME UNDERSTAND MY ILLNESS, FOUND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITHIN MINUTES. SHE IS A VERY BUSY AND DEDICATED DR. I WOULD NEVER CHANGE. I WAITED TO SEE HER, THE WAIT WAS WORTH MY TIME AND LIFE. SHE MADE ME ALL WELL. WOMENS HEALTH IS VERY IMPORTANT, AND VERY INTENSE. SHE EXPLAINED IT ALL TO ME. SHE TOOK HER TIME AND MADE SURE SHE DID EVERYTHING RIGHT. I DONT AND WONT EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT WAITING TO SEE HER, BECAUSE WHEN ITS MY TURN I HAVE HER FULL ATTENTION AND I WILL ASK QUESTIONS, AND SHE WILL ANSWER. I CAN LEAVE HER OFFICE WITH A PEACE OF MIND. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. ESTELLA ROBINSON FOR CARING AND TAKING THAT EXTRA MILE TO TAKE CARE OF ME AND MANY OTHER WOMEN WHO GET VERY ILL.

Excellent health care. Professional, caring and very very knowledgeable.

I wait 4 hrs and the DR never came

Yes....I'm not going to lie...the wait time for each appointment is FOREVER (averaging about 5 hrs, no joke)! That is the only thing I really dislike about going to see this doctor. But, when it comes down to the doctor herself, I have to say that I'd rather stay with her and wait, than go with another doctor who isn't as good just because I can see them faster. Why else do you think it takes her such a long time to see you?...It's because a lot of people really like her and go to her, therefore she has a ton of patients to see. She's not very conversational, but she will still take time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. She is VERY strict with all her nurses because she wants to make sure YOU are getting the best care. She does a sonogram every time and usually prints one for you to take. She is also very adamant about you having a vaginal birth. A lot of doctors are real quick to cut you open because they lose patience and want to make more money. But, unless it is… totally necessary, Dr. Robinson will not give up on you and push you to have that baby without you going thru a cesarean. There is just something about her demeanor that shows her experience and professionalism. There are also several reviews about the staff being rude, but I personally have never had a problem with any of them. They were all polite and respectful to me and my husband. Bottom line...no matter who you research, there are always going to be people who aren't fully satisfied with their ob gyn. You can't please everybody. Dr. Robinson is a really great doctor. If you want quality care, there's a price to pay (being your time). So you make the decision. But I know that no matter what, I'm always going to go back to her despite the long waits to see her.

6 hours to wait for her is insane
