This dentist will tell you that you've got work to get done. Anything to get an extra penny. Seeked a second opinion and everything suggested by Stein was deemed unnecessary by the other doctor. Don't try getting your dental records 6 years later because shell suddenly send a bill you never got anything about to collections.

Dr. Estelle Stein and her staff are very professional work well with your schedule and very clean I don't have enough good things to say about this dentistry I hate going to the dentist but they make you feel welcome and help you in everyway they can I never wrote a review before but I saw negative things being said and I could not believe it for a second even on her off time gets back to patients and helps in any need that's necessary Current client

Experienced a dental emergency just before a scheduled vacation. Dr. Stein and staff managed to get me an appointment to be seen right away for a proper diagnosis and also arranged for an appointment to an excellent endodontist the next day. I couldn't be more grateful to all! Been a patient for many years and very pleased with the level of care and expertise.

Twice after having cavities filled, they were so poorly done that I had painful high spots that required returns to the office to have fixed. I recall one particular visit where I was left in the chair for 10 minutes waiting for Dr. Stein to come in and inect me with Novocain in preparation for a filling. She finally came in and shot me, then left again "while the anesthetic was kicking in." I waited for almost a half hour (I could hear her laughing and talking with other patients, the staff in the front office, etc.) until she returned, only to discover she hadn't given me enough and I could still feel everything she did in my mouth. She had to inject me again, and of course left again for another 15-20 minutes. There have been times during exams when Dr. Stein was checking my mouth that she and the hygienist would gab and gossip-- oftentimes making fun of patients they'd seen earlier that day or week and apparently thought I would love to hear about. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. In… their defense, they never used any of the patients' names, but it's still a disgusting display of poor "bedside manner." I know several people who have gone to Dr. Stein for years before changes in their insurance forced them to seek other dental care. Their new providers commented on the poor quality of the work that they'd received. One woman even told me that when she switched dentists, she allegedly had 3 or 4 cavities that still needed to be filled, but even though the new doctor took x-rays and checked and re-checked her teeth, no cavities were found. So it seemed Dr. Stein was making up work for herself. There's something to be said about the comfort of seeing the same health providers -- physician, specialists, and yes, dentists-- for years and years and years. However, my personal experiences with Dr. Stein made me shop around. And after hearing the other horror stories from people formerly in her care, I know that I will never go back there again for any reason, nor would I recommend her services to anyone looking for a new dentist.
