Dr. Esther Jordan Cheung-Phillips, MD

This review is not about Dr. Cheung-Phillips personally, but about the River ENT office staff, who were shockingly unprofessional. I had two appointments scheduled on the same day with two different doctors within River ENT for separate medical issues. The office called to say my insurance would not allow two visits in one day. I verified this directly with my insurance company, which then contacted River ENT, spoke with Rick, and confirmed there was no issue with coverage. They even provided a reference number confirming it. Despite that, a staff member called me again, repeatedly interrupted me, refused to listen, and kept saying, “we can only see you once.” She was completely dismissive and unwilling to hear facts that had already been confirmed. The experience was frustrating and unacceptable. The behavior of the staff showed a total lack of professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy toward patients. If this is how River ENT communicates with people before an appointment, I… would seriously question the care and attention provided after one.
