Summary
I was born and raised in beautiful Hamburg (Germany), which is where my family still lives. I got my first taste of life in the United States as an exchange student in high school, resulting in many lifelong friendships and a lasting love for this country. My parents were teachers and always nurtured an environment of learning and compassion, which led me naturally and enthusiastically into the medical field. I decided early on to go into the specialty of Ob/Gyn. During medical school and residency in Germany I was fortunate to have many opportunities to live and study abroad, including Vienna (Austria), Reykjavik (Iceland), Invercargill (New Zealand), Wailuku (Maui), and Seattle (WA). I found myself ultimately settling in sunny Southern California, where I completed both my residency and double fellowship and now feel very much at home.
