Dr. Esther Sungah Kroh, MD

Surprised to read other comments since Dr. Kroh was so easy to communicate with regarding our daughter. She was very understanding of our stress and anxiety and always took the time to explain things to us. She is young but had great bedside manner and seems to be very well respected by the staff and other families we encountered. Not sure how accurate the 1st review can be since Dr. Kroh doesn't even see patients in a clinic or as outpatient, cuz we asked! Great experience and our daughter is doing great!

Dr Kim has since married and is now Dr Kroh. She is young, and thus should continue to work on her interpersonal skills and bedside manner. However, she is intelligent and knows her stuff - but she is not the most objective neonatologist out there. She can be very "doom and gloom" - we challenged her on this and our son is doing much better. If we had listened to her we would have been visiting his grave rather than holding him in our arms. That being said, she is professional enough to admit when patients like our son surprise her. Not everyone is a statistic.

We went to Dr. Kim eight weeks ago the first time and visited her seven more times afterwards. First I thought I was just to nervous and that's why I wanna giver her a second chance. But, no, it wasn't our fault but hers. She is unprofessional since she answers her private cellphone during the consultation, and she doesn't seem to care at all about our feelings. I also think it seems like she isn't even a real doctor yet. When she meets colleagues, she jokes around like a 16-year old. It's a very poor behavior. No more Dr. Kim for us!!!
