Gabrielle RosengartenNP Rosengarten is a highly qualified and experienced Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a rich academic and professional background. She earned a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Montreal and a Master’s in Advanced Practice Adult Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Massachusetts. Additionally, her holistic approach and ethnopsychiatry skills are bolstered by two United Nations Executive Leadership Program certificates focused on systemic peacebuilding and conflict transformation and a Bachelor of Arts, which included a specialization in Medical Anthropology from Oxford University (where she also served as captain of Oxford University’s Wadham College rowing team).Academic and Clinical ExperienceMs. Rosengarten has a wealth of experience in both academic and clinical settings. She served as the class representative for the Advanced Practice Nursing Graduate Department at the University of Massachusetts, where she contributed to nursing education by teaching and grading Baccalaureate-level nursing students. Her expertise and commitment to bettering mental health services is evident through her initiative to offer free psychopharmacology lectures to Primary Care Providers at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, where she served as Chief of Psychiatry and to lead initiatives to improve the quality of care in various healthcare settings across Canada, the U.S.A., and Mexico. She has held onumerous other managerial and supervisory roles throughout her career, from serving as the lead R.N. for the Inuit Mental Healthcare Program at Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal, Qc to being one of two lead nurse practitioners heading the Cambodian refugee mental health care program at North Suffolk Mental Health Associates in Boston, MA. Last but not least, her dedication to increasing access to mental healthcare and psychiatry and mental health education for medical providers globally is further demonstrated by her years of volunteer work with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Chester M.
