Esther E. Vorovich, MD

I am a new patient of Dr. Vorovich. I have had heart issues all my life. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years. And quite frankly, she's one of, perhaps two, whom, coincidentally are both from Northwestern, that have imbued me with a profound sense of awe and trust from the outset. And I am not one easily impressed nor partial to giving trust. However, it was clear from the very beginning that she is a top-tier physician who is at the forefront of medicine regarding heart failure, transplantation, and general cardiology. She cares for me. She wants me to succeed and to survive. I believe that without a doubt in my mind. She left no room to doubt her. She knew what she was talking about, and quite similarly to my own persona, she had a backup plan, and backup plan for the backup plan, and I *really* like that. As for the person that inexplicably left a one-star review with no context, I can only surmise what may have been the case there. As someone, particularly a young man with… heart failure, and all struggles that entails, the fear, the PTSD, the unknown, and the lamentations of dreams, goals, and memories that could have been... lost to a disease you never had a choice in; it takes you to some difficult places. Here is the reality: If you have heart failure, it's not pretty. You're going to hear things you don't want to hear. You're going to have to accept things about yourself you're not going to want to accept, you're going to go through things you don't want to go through, and it is her job to explain all of these problems to you and the reality of it. But, if there is anywhere in the world you want to be as a person with heart failure, it would be in someone like Dr. Vorovich's Office. I am incredibly grateful and fortunate that I won the doctor lottery and happened to wind up with Dr. Vorovich.

Dr. Vorovich is by far the best doctor I've ever had. She's caring, brilliant and really cares for her patients. I will be forever grateful to her.?
