Dr. Eudora Eng, MD

First, the support staff is excellent. But in her role at US Renal (which only does peritoneal dialysis at this location), Dr. Eng is biased and does not give objective (or any) advise on the pros/cins of peritoneal vs. hemodialysis. Get an objective second opinion on the best type of dialysis for you. I ended up in-payient before I learned that hemodialysis was better for me. And when in-payient,vshe never checked in on me, even though she was on rounds while I was in-payient! She should count herself lucky I am not the type to sue for malpractice.

Too busy to answer all of my questions

She can be difficult to contact, not always prompt in replying to emails or phone messages.

I don't know if that's because they fit in emergency patients (she is only at this location one day a week) or if it's because they schedule her one way and she spends more time withe patients, but the long wait is not good. Otoh, she's worth waiting for.
