Dr. Eugene Bortnick, MD

Turbinate surgery can cause Empty Nose Syndrome. This can cause severe nerve pain in the face and also make a person lose their ability to feel air in their nose, making them feel like they are suffocating. It is living in torture. Think twice before having this surgery.

Dr. Eugene Bortnick did a "necklift" on me that was horrific. Another surgeon said he must have "made it up the night before." He liposuctioned my jawline, something he never should have done. Then he pulled the SKIN on my jawline horizontally so tight that my whole face was pulled downward so hard for 6 weeks that it literally pulled the volume out of my face. I looked like a melted candle and 15-20 years OLDER. He RUINED MY LIFE.

Dr. Bortnick was able to reconstruct my face after skin cancer and another MDs surgical errors. He was also able to recontruct my nose and cheek bone after a car accident so that I look normal and I can breathe.

This is a caring and considerate man. I will be moving out of state and he actually called a physician to arrange for me to get an appointment with the new physician. Dr. Bortnick has performed minor cosmetic procedures for me in the past.

Dr. Bortnick is a very knowledgable doctor & atleast didn't bother hesitating in telling me where I had been done wrong before; However, he did not want to fix any of my problems, Which consisted of Chronic atrophic rhinitis from aggressive, incorrect, & unneccessary turbinate surgery (I was turbinated!), and then UPPP throat surgery- All incited from a terrible quality septoplasty from Gary Y Shaw, & then going by Shaw's bad after reccomendations, because I was unknowledgable & Shaw didn't want to acknowledge or address the errors and low-quality issues resulting from his work; his nose "job". I also meant to pay the fees charged by the office of D. Bortnick (& another guy whom I saw in his office there whom wasn't going to address the issues or get me anywhere pertaining to it seemed), but had a change of address & was not aware of how overdue things were until receiving a collections report in the mail just recently; I just haven't felt any better yet, as it seems difficult to get… these debilitating problems addressed anywhere, and my money (& work) situation have been tight, honestly due in large part to these ENT surgical-induced issues. I'm sorry things ended this way, but felt and still feel my problems have not been addressed, and likely can't afford anything until I hopefully get fixed somehow.
