Dr. Eugene F. Cassone

Saw this doctor for a gastrointestinal surgery recommended by another specialist. Not only did I have serious postoperative issues, but I discovered later that two other people I know both suffered colon punctures from simple colonoscopies he performed. He should not be allowed to practice.

I started seeing Dr. Cassone because I had terrible care (and botched surgery) from my previous doctor. I find him to be just what I need...someone who can stay on top of my medical issues. I find his office to be very helpful and friendly. Dr. Cassone explains things to me, so that I can understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I recently moved to the area from out of state and was referred to Dr. Cassone for some GI problems that I have been dealing with for many years. When the office called to give me my appointment they gave me the next available that the Dr had which was sometime out. I asked to be put on a cancellation list and within two weeks time they called me with an opening. His staff was very pleasant and kind to deal with and seem to be very caring. Dr. Cassone was extremely professional and knowledgeable in regards to my condition. It is always nerve racking when you need to see a new doctor that you are not used to. However, Dr. Cassone made all of my anxieties disappear and he was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this practice.

I recently had a colonoscopy and was so pleased by the kind staff and care given. I was so beyond nervous but the staff had reassured me it was going to be just fine and Dr. Cassone was nothing but caring and kind. He also took the time after the procedure to explain what he had found during the procedure and what his recommendations would be to follow. I didn't quite remember some points and when I called the nurse was wonderful and patient with me while going over my results. So appreciative of this office and them making me feel well taken care of and like family.

DR CASSONE IS TO THE POINT! HE DOESNT PLAY GAMES AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. HIS NURSE IS VERY HELPFUL ALWAYS RETURNING MY CALLS IN A TIMELY MANOR AND GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND.

Dr Cassone is a very professional Dr. He is a man who knows his stuff ! His staff is great especially Danielle. She always returns my calls and I feel like she makes me her first priority! The staff is great

Dr. Cassone recommended that I have surgery to remove about 1 foot of my large intestine. Second opinion by a gastroenterologist at a teaching hospital indicated that Dr. Cassone's recommendation was based on a diagnostic assumption that was erroneous. Did not have surgery and do not need it.

I’ve been living with gastroparesis for the last 3 years. This doctor does not seem to care about his patients, just get the patient in and out. The office staff are mostly rude and unprofessional—- not ALL but most.
