I found the Southeast Radiation Oncology Center in Juneau, Alaska to be wonderful. Dr. Huang and his staff were amazing! I felt comfortable there and if I ever wanted to talk to Dr. Haung or any staff I felt that I could. I went there every day for six and a half weeks. When I left I felt like I was leaving my medical family. I have to go visit and say "hi" as I actually miss Dr. Huang and his staff.

Dr. Huang and his staff are excellent! They are all very kind caring and friendly. THey made going through radiation treatment so much better. Being able to do my radiation treatments in my home town of Juneau AK made all the difference, and seeing such warm and caring people everyday was a blessing.

Dr. Huang and his staff provided excellent support for explaination of process before, during, and after for next steps. His staff were friendly and supportive. His office was flexible for scheduling.

From my initial visit i was treated as if i was a member of their family. Dr Huang told me my options and his recommendations and all were good and proven methods of cancer treatment. I chose EBRT for several reasons but mostly because i could live my life normally day to day during my entire 9 weeks of radiation treatment. I am so glad i did. Dr Huang and his staff treated me like a friend. They notify my other Doctors with updates on my progress. The Radiation Oncology Center itself is friendly, i felt good just walking in. They are kind, caring and friendly and they gave me hope, and in addition they gave me a longer life. Every single day is blessing because of them. Thank you for taking care of me. I am forever grateful.

It was not until treatments started that we recognized what a passion that Dr Huang has for treating cancer. I can honestly say I do not think that there is a better Oncologist in the World let alone Alaska. Even his peers in both Seattle and Anchorage recognize his expertise in treating Cancer. If you are going to be treated for cancer, and you dont live in Juneau; you should come here to Southeast Radiation Oncology. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Huang and staff could not possibly more caring, thoughtful, considerate and knowledgable. Every question I asked was answered in a concise and easily understandable way. All possible side affects were explained, as to what it would look and feel like. I, particularly, did not want tatoos, so Dr. Huang used clear adhesive tabs for positioning. Scans and Xrays were used twice weekly to make sure the treatment was being directed to the exact location with minimal affect to healthy cells. The staff couldn’t be more considerate and helpful, as well, explaining the working of the machine. If there was a rating higher than a five stars, I would definitely use it.

Dr. Huang and his staff are highly skilled, deeply caring, and provide personalized service. Dr. Huang is published in medical journals, yet wears his expertise with a wonderful humility, explains procedures, all combined with an evident compassion. Dr. Huang listens to his patient and uses that information to address your concerns and answer questions honestly & fully. Having had radiation treatment in the past, I can say that this time around was, thankfully, nothing like my first experience. Juneauites are very lucky to have access to such a capable, thoughtful doctor and to be able to stay home during this difficult part of cancer treatment.

I'm so grateful to be able to receive such considerate and skilled treatment for my cancer while staying at home in this town I love.
