Dr. Eugene Charles Jagella, MD

After moving my elderly parents to live with me I had no idea where to find a doctor for them. My personal physician suggested Dr. Jagella not only because he is well respected by his colleagues but also because he offers a unique service - making house calls. As my mother was not very mobile having Dr. Jagella come to our home was such a blessing. He was very thorough with his exams and provided us with valuable choices in her care. After she suffered a stroke he was extremely helpful during her hospitalization as well as during her hospice care. His hands on experience dealing with geriatric patients gives him a perspective that other doctors can only read about. Care of the elderly can be a touchy subject as it frequently will deal with the aspect of quality of life and eventually death. His honest approach and suggestions are based on his knowledge and experience and we valued that very much.

Since I was 11 years old I wa I was diagnosed with m with my diseases I have multipl problems with my healt I have been seen from beth Israel to Brigham and Women's and also Joslyn clinic and I have never received the amount of care that i receive from Doctor jagella. He is not just a doctor he is also a very very caring person he understands and gives you options on how to treat your medical problems he listens and cares it is very rare to to find thesthese qualities in a doctor god bless him

Dr. Jagella should not be in the medical profession. He cannot relate to people and does not belong in the position he is in. i believe he may be a good doctor for a lab or research, but not for the interaction with patients. he waits til the end of day/night to see his patients so he doesn't have to talk to their children or sometimes his patients as they are sleeping. Why doesn't the Medical board step in and take a closer look at his practices!!!

Dr. Jagella consistently over-rode the recommendations of specialists in the care of my mother. She rapidly deteriorated under his care, and it was only when we were able to transfer her to another nursing home that her health improved. I would warn everyone against him!
