I had a breast augmentation/revision procedure with Dr. Eugene Kim last summer. Several weeks later, while traveling internationally, I became extremely ill and developed worsening symptoms. Antibiotics were eventually recommended/called in, but my condition rapidly escalated. I was ultimately diagnosed overseas with an MSSA staph infection that progressed to sepsis, requiring emergency hospitalization in Nice, France. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a documented fever of approximately 105 degrees and severe vomiting, and I ultimately underwent emergency explant surgery. I had drains placed and remained hospitalized in France while recovering. This was one of the most traumatic and frightening experiences of my life, especially being seriously ill in a foreign country where I did not speak the language. This situation also created significant financial consequences for me, including the original surgery costs, emergency ambulance transport, hospitalization and medical… care in France, canceled travel plans, changed flights, and the loss of the European trip I had planned. I understand complications can happen with any surgery. Based on my personal experience, I was disappointed with the overall experience during and after this crisis. Separate from the medical emergency itself, I was also unhappy with my cosmetic results. I underwent a revision procedure and was advised to use Motiva implants, and I paid additional costs for internal pocket revision work intended to improve implant positioning and symmetry. Despite this, I personally felt the final result appeared uneven, including noticeable asymmetry between my breasts. Overall, this was an incredibly difficult and disappointing experience for me. This review reflects solely my personal experience and opinion as a patient.

Dr. Kim, Angel and the entire staff are the best in Beverly Hills. From the Consult, Pre-Op and Surgery went smoothly. Dr. Kim answered all my questions and concerns, and took his time w/ me explaining what was the best for me (my body) and lifestyle. I believe you should have a good relationship w/ your doctor. (many believe as long as the Dr does the job, who cares about bedside manner). Not me. I want my doctor to understand me emotionally and mentally, and my life. Breast Augmentation or any surgery is a life changing event. And Dr. Kim understood me from the get go! ,And he also took into consideration the look that I wanted. They are on top of it. The staff and Angel the manager called me several times to confirm my appts and answer any questions I have. And even the Anesthesiologist called me up the day before the procedure. Both Dr. Kim and Dr. Patel (the Anesthesiologist) were very patient and understanding since I have a fear of going under. My fears were gone. I felt… comfortable knowing I am in good hands. On surgery day - the procedure went smoothly. The nurses, the assistants,the Anesthesiologist and Dr.Kim made me feel soo comfortable. They all explained to me in detail what they were doing, before I went under. I don't even remember going under (which was my biggest fear). I woke up alert and happy! And they keep going -- follow-up care, check-ins, phone calls, availability around the clock, etc. I am very happy getting my Breast Augmentation done by the BEST Dr. and Staff in Beverly Hills. I highly recommend Dr. Eugene Kim, if you live in the LA area.

Caring, compassionate, and talented are just a few words that describe Dr. Kim. I had been considering breast augmentation pretty much my entire adult life, and I'm so happy that I chose him and his practice for this life changing experience. After consulting with many doctors I picked Dr. Kim for several reasons. One being the fact the he is a true artist- he will listen to your needs and not only delivery a fantastic outcome, but will be there with you every step of the way. I'm only 6 weeks post op and I could not be happier with my results. The staff at his office shows the same devotion to excellence and made my experience both comforting and exciting. From the first phone call to inquire about the surgery, to today, I am so pleased with how they took care of me and put my "vision" first. I highly recommend Dr. Kim!

Love Dr. Kim!! It is one week after my breast augmentation & I am extremely happy!! My entire experience has been awesome from day 1 with him! He has taken his time to explain everything, made sure I was happy, & listened to exactly what I wanted from my surgery. He also has a guarantee that if you don't like you're results, he will switch out the implants for free. He is very reasonable on pricing, especially considering his high quality of service. As for the office, it is very clean, all the staff are extremely nice, & I never had to wait more then 2 mins to be seen for my appointments. Parking was actually not a big hassel either since there is a parking lot across the street which has two hour free parking. Overall amazing!!!

I will be scheduling a tummy tuck and a little bit of inner thigh lipo with Dr. Kim in the next few days. I had my consultation this morning. I submitted a consultation request online Tuesday night, got a call first thing Wednesday morning, and they fit me in for a 9am appointment Thursday. I ended up being an hour and 15 minutes late due to ridiculous LA traffic. I was just going to reschedule, but he made room for me anyway. Not only did he make time for me, he spent about an hour with me going over every detail of what to expect, showed me a before and after with my specific issue. He explained how he does his procedures and why, compared to other doctor's work. I had a breast aug about 10 years ago with fantastic results, so I have seen many surgeons over the years, and I must say that he made me feel so very comfortable and relaxed. It's embarassing and you feel super vunerable showing someone parts of you that you hate most, but I never felt embarassed.And when the worst part… came, the quote, I told him my budget which was only enough for the tuck. He said he would do the lipo as well for just the price of the tuck, which is actually a really great price to begin with! I really got the feeling that he wants me to be happy with my whole body when he's done, which is more important to him than the extra money. I'm still in shock that a Beverly Hills doctor is that caring. I'm super excited. I'll post after the surgery with the results.Simply amazing!

I have been wanting a breast augmentation for years, and finally had enough courage and finances to have one. Dr. Kim was recommended by a facial plastic surgeon who has a practice nearby. Dr. Kim has great bedside manners - friendly but professional, caring, and respectful. He was very thorough about explaining all the possible risks involved in the procedure as well as what to expect pre, during, and post op. It's been 3 1/2 weeks since the surgery, and I am recovering very well. The scars are hardly noticeable, the bruising and the swelling were less than expected. The breasts look really nice. They are exactly the size I wanted. I think Dr Kim is very skilled at what he does. What sets him apart from the other doctors is the level of care he puts into each of his patients. He genuinely wants to produce the best possible results for his patients, and wishes them to walk out of his office, happy and pleased. And I am happy and pleased!

I previously had a bad experience having Juvederm injected into my lips by other Doctor about 6 years ago. I really wanted to have fuller lips again but was very scared due to my past bad memory of pain and discomfort. I didn't want your typical Beverly Hills "duck lips". After doing some research and finding Dr. Kim's great yelp reviews and a recommendation from a friend, I decided to give it another try. Dr. Kim's bedside manner was stellar and to my surprise I didn't even feel the needle go in and the whole process was pain free. After a few days of mild swelling my lips have settled in nicely and look naturally fuller. This was exactly the look I was going for. I wish I would have found this doctor years ago.

I heard of Dr. Kim through a friend who had seen him for a breast augmentation last year and her results were amazing! Well, now I can say that my breast aug results were everything that I wanted!! I couldn't be happier!
