Dr. Eugene Koshkin, MD

Dr Koshkin at one time was a good doctor, However when he became the director of the clinic that all changed. Koshkin has taken on a 'God like' complex. While he's not a certified surgeon he continues to do surgery. I've spent 6yrs at his clinic and the last 4 have been a nightmare. I strongly encourage all of the patients to unite against this kind of treatment! He's threatened me, and followed thru w/his threats bc I wanted to remove my pump. I am currently seeking another Dr. I suggest that you find another Dr if you are in need of pain management. This Dr will only make your life a living.... It's hard enough to live in pain w/o the additional stress from a doctor who's supposed to help you

I'm not certain why these individuals Have Had Poor Experience With Dr K. Unless they aren't getting what they want.he is very straight forward and explains in great detail any procedure or medical issues until it is understood. He is very caring and understanding. Came after working 12 hrs to check on me in ER after an issue with a faulty pain pump. Gave instructions to call him directly with any questions and spoke to me via cell phone while an attending resident was present. I think that goes above and beyond his responsibility. As far as not being a surgeon, any intelligent person would know he would not be allowed to perform surgery if he was not qualified and my guess is he was joking but the individual had no sense of humor.

Dr Koshkin used to be a very goodcaring doctor who went above and beyond his duties. However over the past 2.5yrs his level of care and professionalism has disappeared completely. He has you wait for hours then rushes thru your appt. His ability to listen to a patients concerns is absent and void. He'll tell you that you things regarding your condition and care you need then completely deny his own words. Where once his dictation was thoroughly written, now dictation is literally verbatim from one visit to the next the only change being the date & vitals. I've had several surgeries done by Koshkin, after the 2nd surgery there were complications. Koshkin then told me that he wasn't really a surgeon while scheduling yet another. When trying to reach him after hours the hospital said he's not a surgeon & should'nt be doing surgery. Furthermore he doesn't have any way to be contacted after hours and no pain Drs are on call. There has been over a dozen times that he has left me in distress… w/no regards to my health or need for care. I wouldn't recommend or advise anyone who has a real need for care to go to him. Since becoming the director of the clinic he has developed a God complex, beware if you question him as he is quick to retaliate! I have been threatened by him several times ,to which he's followed thru. I am currently in the process of filling complaints against him with every organization that I can. I encourage everyone who has been having these issues to do the same! Doctors such as Koshkin depend on the fear they instill in their patients to keep them in line. Especially since the new laws against the patients and doctors who have a legitimate need for pain management. I encourage all to stand up together and fight the new laws and doctors such as Koshkin that are taking away our quality of life and criminalizing us and the medications we need. While there is a undeniable problem with the abuse of the medication we justifiably need there are many different actions that can be taken other than making it almost impossible to receive the care and pain management we so desperately need and have a right to receive. File your complaints w/the medical and pharmacy boards today! Follow up with letters to our state and federal representatives, For only standing united will change happen. We had the greatest country in the world, which is rapidly disappearing. Only thru the people standing united will we have our rights restored and get our great country back. Please take action immediately! They are depending on our fear to keep us living in pain. We are sure to lose all our rights if we continue to be silent- if you think things are bad now, they are only getting worse. Stand up today

Sorry this was the rudest Dr I have ever had to deal with in my life. He was so unprofessional and made me feel like I was a complete joke! I have never felt so disrespected by a medical professional in my life. I would suggest anyone referee to him ask to see another Dr.

Stay away from this guy. Got as much money out of the insurance company as he could, then dumped me after making multiple promises. I should have listened to another Dr. in another state that said the treatments didn't make any sense. I was not going to continue but I got really sick and was confused

He was very rude. I did not appreciate my visit with him.

May be a talented physician but can be extremely rude, condescending and uncaring. Does not listen well. Blows patients off and does not take patient concerns seriously. Makes you feel that you are a waste of his time. Lacks compassion. Always rushed. Does not care to document patient visit accurately.

Dr. Koshkin gave us hope when our last MD had blown us off. I am grateful for his care and the improvement in our lives.

Young and arrogant. I waited for over and hour and left upset and uncared for.
