Absolutely fine doctor & surgeon ... hubby & I have both seen him for various doctoring - I've had knee trouble for years & years but now I'm repaired & walking great! At 75 yrs ... I'm happy to be nearly totally pain free & walking again up/down stairs with ease! Thanks! Staff is wonderful ... Dr. Lopez is wonderful (and funny) ... and no more appointments for another year!

I am so glad I choose Dr. Lopez to do my total knee replacement surgery, he and his staff are so great to work with. If there is another surgery I would need in the future, Dr. Lopez is the one I will go to.

Dr. Eugene P. Lopez performed surgery on both my hips, 12 months apart. After visiting two other surgeons, he offered me a solution to my end stage osteoarthritis that I had not heard of. Skeptical at first, I learned that he is one of a handful of surgeons to learn and master the surgical approach called BHR. He is extremely confident and reassuring. His PA, Joe, is a highly skilled and knowledgeable assistant who was present during both OR visits and hospital stays. He initially helped me understand the mechanics involved, was instrumental during both procedures, and stopped by my hospital room on the weekend! The teams nurse Debby equally knowledgeable and reassuring, was my point of contact for countless questions regarding pre/post surgery concerns, medication issues, employer forms, disability communication, etc. She never failed to call me back or fax someone for me. Thanks to them, I am better than new.

Dr Lopez is a fantastic doctor. His staff is wonderful. He doesn't try to give you surgery if you don't need it, like other ones will. He works with you for your treatment.

Dr. Lopez is fantastic, any knee problems, he is your Doctor. He goes out of his way to make sure you don't have to have surgery, unless it is totally necessary. Great Staff, gets back to you right away. not hard to make appointments. just a great Doctor and his office

My visit to Dr. Lopez was for knee pain. His staff X-rayed my knees and in a follow up visit performed an MRI test. Everyone that I dealt with was pleasant. Dr. Lopez diagnosed a small tear in the meniscus of one knee and moderate arthritis in both knees. He said surgery was a last resort and unlikely to be required. He prescribed a number of short term and long term remedies. I appreciate a surgeon who recommends surgery as a last resort.

I came to Dr Lopez seeking a second opinion. He agreed with the first Ortho doctor but added a new concern which the MRI revealed was right on! The recommended therapy has been working great. I felt like a number in the first practice. At Midwest they are efficient and friendly and don't rush you through.
