Front staff is great very friendly & nice but the way they schedule appointments is very inconvenient. They will give you a day but can’t give you the time until 1 day before your apt. Both the nurses & Dr really show no interest in your health. The Dr. does not take the time to go over treatment plans. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr Nunnery is a very good doctor and I would recommend him. I saw other doctors-rude, cold, no patient manners, thought they were gods, don't question them, etc. Dr. Nunnery is not like that. He is very prompt!! DON'T BE LATE!! DON'T MISS APPOINTMENTS!! The staff will tell you to be 30 min. early before your appointment-be there 30 min early.!! You usually wait no more than 30 min n waiting room and only 5 min. in patient rooms. He is knowledgeable, he isn't bother by you asking questions and answers quickly-no evasiveness. But he can be a little cold, a little quick in his visit with you so be ready to tell him right off the bat that you have questions -before he starts his exam. He will answer!!! But be aware if he prescribes PREDISONE-that medicine has a tendency to make you diabetic, which happened to me. There was no warning and isn't listed as possible side effects in the medicine info. sheet you get from pharmacy. Both my OB/GYN and general MD confirmed that the… medicine was the cause of my diabetes even before my appt. to see Dr. Nunnery. When I saw him, all he said was OK just drop the Predisone. Fortunately, I was fine after 4 months by dropping medicine and watching my diet. But I have to be careful in the future that it will come back because once you have it, you will get it again. DON'T miss 2 or more appointments -YOU WILL BE DROPPED!!

Scheduler treats you as a number on the roster and not a patient. Other staff working side by side with MD polite and attentive.

I was referred to Dr Nunnery by my PC doctor, he told me what was wrong, but he offered no solutions. He only referred me to a Neorologist and Physical Therapy. No help seeing him was a total waste of time

Arrogant Office help and Doctor policy. I tried to become a new patient and after waiting for the answering service to notify Dr. Nunnery's office that I had called I was told they could not make an appointment WITHOUT a referral from my primary care physician...which I don't have. The initial examination would consist of the same things, but the Doctors Union wants me to spend the funds for an extra office visit after another doctor makes a diagnosis. But he would probably also want a referral also. The initial visit was to determine the extent of my illness and I felt that a supposed expert was the place to start...not with an amateur in the field. Sooo...how and where do I get competent medical help in South Texas?

He's a very good doctor, he is really picky about patients being late, but for the same reason there is never more than a 10 minute wait. He is very friendly and has very good bedside manners. Overall he's a great doctor that has kept my RA under control for several years.

If I go early, I get in early. Have never known a doctor who was so well educated in every area of medicine. And, on the rest of the world, as well.
