Dr. Eugene Rosenman, MD

Rosenman was the only mental health practitioner in the State, who could evaluate me per my insurance. Rosenman had to be called three days in a row before he came in to “evaluate me” even though I had not been seen by any mental health professional after having a severe mental breakdown and untreated lifelong trauma. The facility finally got him to come in on a Sunday, after I had already been hospitalized for 5 days without any form of mental health care assessment or treatment. I was then diagnosed by Rosenman as bipolar with severe psychosis, right as I walked through the door to meet him, without being spoken to or evaluated. Rosenman informed me I would not be released from the mental health institution unless I took the bipolar medication for two days. If not, there would be no foreseen date of release.. From the beginning, Rosenman knew I was hesitant to take medication (I had stroke level blood pressure spikes after having taken medication for a migraine while… hospitalized). After taking the bipolar medication for a day, I complained about having restless limb syndrome symptoms in my arms at our follow up appointment. Rosenman ignored my complaint, and informed me that restless limb syndrome in the arms is not a side effect of the medication, it would only occur in my legs.. Maybe if I had been spoken to at all, Rosenman would know I have nerve damage throughout most of my body; and suffered an untreated concussion, as a result of a severe car accident I was in a few years ago. All of which can cause unforeseen issues and side effects with medications.. After discrediting my complaint altogether, Rosenman then doubled the dose; which caused the restless limb syndrome to get so bad I woke up several times throughout the night with an intense tingling sensation that prevented me from being able to sleep. I wanted to scream because of how uncomfortable I was, but given the circumstances, I knew that would risk me being sedated. So, I toughed it out, waited until the next morning, and thank God was released from the facility. Stay away at all costs if you can!

Been coming for a couple of years. Of recent, the practice has gone downhill. Lousy appointment reminder system....it’s automated and does NOT leave a voicemail reminder on one’s answering machine. And then they want $50 for a missed appointment? What a simple fix on their part. Send texts and emails as well just like ALL OTHER practices. Don’t tell me that I signed paperwork ( years ago) stating you’re policies! And when I rescheduled...because I called their office wondering why I hadn’t heard anything from them in several weeks, I was informed I had missed an appointment. At this time, I clearly stated I would not be paying any missed fee because I never received any form of reminder, or appointment confirmation. They should be thanking me for letting them know that clearly their automated system was NOT working! And then I show up and they want $50 over my normal $20 copay? Ummm.... already had the discussion over the phone with your office staff PRIOR to the next visit… that I would not be paying for any missed fees. ( I seriously want to bill them for the gas I wasted driving there!) Now you don’t even get today’s copay because of the snowballing incompetencies! Um, and how about not over booking your patient load and not keeping us waiting in a packed office space sometimes in excess of 45 minutes past one’s appointment time! ( remember, their time is more important than ours) Durning 2 prior appointments my doctor had an intern doing her residency;observing. Both times this intern literally sat there nodding off in her chair while taking notes. Extremely unprofessional. Once, I understand. Twice? Wow.... And god forbid one has to switch medicines and perhaps try several before finding an appropriate dosage. Can you imagine getting yelled at by your doctor while trying to explain the side effects one was experiencing? Zero compassion! There are other ‘cattle mill’ behavioral health facilities that I’d rather give my Medicare insurance to. With efficient methods in place and better communication skills, both from office staff and doctors.

Maria the the office prescription secretary is rude and racist. She claims to be an RN but is only a Medical Assistant. Acts if she is a physician but has no more than a 3 month certificate from a get off Welfare program. She is so rude I stopped going to the facility and stopped taking my meds all together. How can a place of business that relies on patients allow such rude people to be the face of the business. Stay away from this practice. Maria’s only goal is to make the patients feel like they are crazy. It’s her mission. Other employees were caught making comments that Maria calls all patients retarded and insane. This is how she refers to those who keep her employed.

My daughter discovered that Dr Eugene Rosenman does not see patients for psychiatric issues but rather simply prescribes medicine to mitigate symptoms. His approach is to ignore mental issues and their causes and simply mask the patient's problems through monthly 15-minute "medicine management". Her condition seemed to have worsen since meeting with him while under a "L2K". His office will promote a "walk-in", no appointment necessary but yet he has not been in his office, himself, for over a year.

You will just see this ''doctor'' once--then you will be assigned to one of the non-doctors that will just write a prescription for what Rosenman recommended during the short first meeting that you had with him. Last time I was there 11 patients were in the waiting room. They were waiting for 2 of the non-doctors. The way I see it-it is a money making operation--nothing more. I had a psychiatrist in Seattle-he treated me like a human being for a change. Look for another Dr.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible. I rarely if ever write a bad review, but this had to be THE WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE EVER! The staff could use some empathy training. Dr.Rosenmann could make his patients comfortable with like water, and a waiting room which does not contain 26 patients in a 90degree room. And yes, I was told that there was not any water. Yuch. Is Dr.Rosenmann too cheap to put a water dispenser in the waiting room. Bad form. I will be following up with a blazing grievance letter. Please find another doctor, and just maybe, just maybe things will improve. This place is the pits!

Dr. Rosenman is Great! Office staff is great. Office manager NOT so great! Rude and inept. Forgot to leave her attitude at home. So incompetent! I escalated my call to "office manager" due to medical records I requested months away had yet to be faxed to my new psychiatrist. And her response was it can take up to 4-5 weeks. Seriously! Worse management ever!

I saw Dr. Rosenman a couple of times before issues with his staff made it so that I never plan to go back again. They are rude and inept at their positions. My appointments were cancelled SEVERAL times by them, last minute (even when I needed a refill on medication that causes many side effects if not taken on time). They will not refill a medication if you do not see the doctor, either. I finally went in after waiting 4 months for my appt (yes, 4 months) only for them to tell me they put me on the schedule for a provider that no longer worked there and that I would have to reschedule. I reluctantly rescheduled only for them to call and cancel when the appt got close. They also fail to understand billing and copays, sometimes collecting it and sometimes not, for no apparent reason. Ridiculous! It's too bad Dr. Rosenman doesn't take more control over the way his practice is run, because he seemed to be a decent practitioner.

Honestly, the previous comments must have been provided my the Dr's friends and relatives... I scheduled my first appointment 2 weeks in advance. I took 2 hours off work, went to the office and was told my appointment had not been entered into the system! Rescheduled for the next day. Had to take another 2 hours off work.. I was on time to my visit, had to wait 35 minutes to see the Dr. He talked to me for a little while had me draw a clock and then started wrapping up the session.. This was my first visit so I was shocked the visit would only last 15 minutes!!.. I asked the Dr how could I benefit from such a short visit.. He explained that I should see a therapist because his function was simply to write the RX.... Haven't been back since.
