He's the best Doctor eve!! I would have loved to stay his patient for ever..

As a parent of a special needs teenager, I am grateful for Dr. Shatz practical approach and sincere respect for my daughters right to a quality life. He does not treat her as a lab rat nor has he written her off as a hospice case. His staff is attentive and courteous. We drive 2.5 hours one way to see him, definitely worth the drive.

After injuring my knee in hockey I went to see Dr. Shatz. After looking at my knee he told me that it would probably heal on it's own and didn't even order an x-ray to see what was going on. After still experiencing problems a year later I went to a new doctor who immediately ordered an x-ray be taken. It was discovered that not only was my ACL torn, but because nothing had been done right away my meniscus had withered away to nothing. After a prolonged recovery on account of a smaller meniscus takes longer to heal an ACL, I was informed that I am guaranteed to have arthritis when I'm older because the meniscus was so destroyed. This was all due to a doctor not ordering a simple x-ray for a very common knee injury.

dr shatz was actually my personal dr when i was very little. his bedside manner and sense of humor truly sets him apart from others. i couldnt have asked for a better care taker, and could only wish that he was still in my area to take my own little one to.
