As the founder of our orthodontic team, Dr. Eugene Simon, DDS, MS has over 30 years of experience in dental specialties. After a pediatric dental residency, he started a pediatric dental practice in Toledo that grew into Sylvania Pediatric Dentistry. From 1979-1981 he returned to the University of Detroit to obtain his certificate in orthodontics and Masters of Science.
Over the years, he has had articles published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontists and has also given professional lectures for the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontics. For 10 years, he also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Detroit Orthodontic Graduate Program. He is still looking for new ideas and techniques to constantly improve our orthodontic results. (It's too bad he can't improve his golf game as easily!)
Dr. Simon and his wife Carol have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, …vacationing in Florida, and spending time with family and friends.
