Dr. Eugenie De Ocejo, MD

I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports the physical, emotional and social well-being of every child. My clinical interests include childhood nutrition, mental health, development and patient education.
I was born in South Africa and raised in Canada, experiences that have created a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the unique needs of families from all backgrounds. I believe in building strong, lasting relationships with patients and their families, starting from birth and growing with them through every stage of development. I view myself as a partner in each child’s health journey, with a focus on preventative care and helping kids understand the science behind how their bodies work. I aim to empower families with knowledge and support, creating a collaborative approach to lifelong health.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University and completed my pediatric residency at the University of Toledo.
…Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and our dog, exploring the outdoors, working with stained glass, discovering new foods and getting lost in a good book.
