Dr. Eugeniu Muntean, MD

Terrible bedside manner terrible experienced left feeling more helpless than we did prior to the appointment. Staff doesn’t get back to you for referral requests. Very shameful..

Dr. Muntean, I believe, is a very good physician. He is very knowledgeable about treatment options for migraines and is quick to switch things around if he feels something is not helping. That said, he is not TOO quick - meaning he knows how long things may take to cause relief. During procedures he asks again and again, "How are you doing?" and listens to the answer. He is a kind man.

Tell him your symptoms and if he can't figure it out he makes up his own symptoms for you so that you fit into the category of a migraine sufferer.

The wait time to establish with this doctor is 4 months, however, I believe that is not his fault, rather the fault of Sanford who refuses to appropriately staff for need. He was willing to see me within a few days after e-mailing him that my medication regiment had worsened my condition. Excellent response by email and excellent willingness to fit me in and see me.

He typed and talked the whole time I was talking which makes me believe he wasn't listening to me at all. When performing neurological exam he went very fast, I would think it would be hard to check someone's gait when he only has you take one step. He was rude and rushed through the appointment and when he doesn't know what is causing your problems he will write it up as a "viral infection" on a good note his nurse was very nice and professional.

I waited over a month to get into see Dr. Muntean and was greatly disappointed. He would ask me a question and before I could answer, would answer for me and type his answer into the computer. He was obviously rushed and I was seen as a waste of his time. He was rude and in my opinion very unprofessional. Dr. Muntean needs to try listening to his patients and realize the time spend in the office is also the patients time, not just his. Iâ??m more than a number.
