Dr. Eva Galstian, DO

Absolutely AWFUL. DOES NOT CARE about patient well being. Spent an entire 2 days calling, while experiencing SEVERE withdrawal symptoms to get a prescription and did not bother to even respond or send the prescription. Staff is inefficient and doctor never available, even in case of EMERGENCY. Clearly focused on business at the cost of patient health.

I went in to see Dr. Galstian for a referral, while I was there she said she was going to schedule me for an annual physical. I said no thank you, I don't care to have one right now. She urged me to do it since I hadn't gotten one yet this year. I asked her how much it would cost and she assured me that it would be completely free. I agreed. A month later I received bills for almost $400. I tried contacting the billing office, no answer, mailbox was full. I tried calling the office, SO INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. So condescending. She always gave some run around and offered to "relay the message" which never got anywhere or offered any response. I finally called again angrily at how unhelpful they are and she HUNG UP ON ME. This place is a SCAM and should be shut down for FRAUD.

I went to this doctor in 2015. They staff at the front desk is pretty bad. They are irresponsive, not reliable and do not give correct information. I had a very difficult time getting reports and also getting insurance approvals. Overall would not go to the doctor just because of the front desk staff issues.

I went there for a neck strain and she prescribed medicine that gave me a really bad bleeding side effect and did not solve my issue. The office assured me that they accepted my insurance, but in the end did not. I called my insurance company and was told that the paper word was not submitted correctly on their behalf to even consider it. The worst part is the receptionist or adminstrator called and threatened that if I don't pay the bill, she would call me EVERYDAY -- until I paid up. She literally sounded like a shark loan. I told her to stop calling me because I have to reach out to my insurance company to resolve matters and if needed, she could have a collection agency reach out to me. But she continued to threatened me and said that it is their "RIGHT" to call me everyday if they needed to. I told her that would be harassment, but she didn't seem to understand.
