Dr. Eva Liskova Hogan

Please yelp this dentist for my full review. She suggested oral surgery to "cut back" perfectly healthy gums in a flawlessly healthy mouth. She is as unscrupulous and unethical as they come. This could have cost me healthy teeth in the long run and untold problems and expenses along the way. All for one reason- to line her pockets. Be afraid. Very afraid.

My experience with the doctor may or may not be typical of people with periodontal problems. I was told that I needed 4 cleanings a year, which were always painful. I was told I needed many, many gum surgeries, and it seemed like every two visits involved one. I had the option of turning all these down, but I trusted the doctor that I needed them. The doctor seemed to get rougher over the years. All told, I had about $20K worth of treatment. The last straw was the last surgery, which seemed to never properly heal and was very raw and painful for weeks. I just decided I had had enough and have taken a 2 year break. I am looking for someone with a gentler manner who will be more conservative in their treatment.
