In the summer of 2013, Eva-Marie Chong, MD performed two cataract surgeries on my eyes. This was not your typical cataract surgery as I had other eye issues. I am legally blind in my right eye. Dr. Chong warned me the outcome may not be totally successful. She explained the surgery in terms which I could understand. For 70 plus years, I have worn very thick glasses. So thick, I could burn paper in the sun with my glasses. Dr. Chong has very good patient skills. Now, I can play my piano without glasses! I am very happy to have thin lenses in my new glasses!

Dr. Chong is an exceptional physician. She is thorough in explaining the procedure, very confident in her diagnosis and she makes sure you do not leave the office with any questions. Her staff is courteous and explaines the procedure as well as giving instructions for the follow up visit. She assures you of 24 hour access to her or her staff; which is reassuring to a patient.

Dr. Chong was caring and knowledgeable about my unique retina issues. She worked me into her busy schedule for my first appointment because I was having flashes that were new to me.
