It was clear that this doctor did not take into consideration the related medical history that he had at his fingertips or my specific medical issues that were also in my file when he offered inappropriate feedback and redundant procedures. The appointment ws a waste of my time and money

After surgery my husband was told he could return to work in 4 days and to resume normal activity as tolerated right after. The pain meds they prescribed were not covered by insurance so I called the Dr's office and the person who answered told me they sent a message to the Dr. No call back that day. My husband woke up in excruciating pain that night. I called the Dr again after waiting 24 hrs for a call back from the first call. Again they said they sent a message but marked it priority. Meantime my husband can put 0 weight on his leg and is saying the pain is all in his thigh. I waited another 4 hrs. and called again, this time they passed me to the Dr's nurse. She was stone walling me and than asked if I thought it was an emergency..."How do I know?? That's why I am calling you, why does he have so much pain in his thigh??" They said it was normal and they called in a prescription and told me to bring him to urgent care if I thought it was an emergency. After this my husband just… dealt with the pain. We got him a pair of crutches that helped him some. A week after the surgery his thigh was till 3x's larger than his other leg and the entire back of his knee is black. I brought him to the Dr's office. The nurse was going to remove his stitches and I asked her to please wait since it's only been a week and can we please see the Dr. He came in and after looking at him said that he doesn't know why but his ITBand is totally inflamed and he will now have to take heavy doses of anti-inflammatory drugs and have 4 weeks of Physical Therapy for the ITBand. He never had an issue with the ITBand before this. They said it may have been caused by the tourniquet they applied during surgery. He is worse now than before the surgery and it looks like a long painful road to recovery. I could go on and on about the Dr never saw my husband in the recovery room after the surgery, never called me back, no follow up after the surgery...just a very very bad experience and my poor husband has had many surgeries with other surgeons, but this was by far the worst experience ever.
