My recent visit felt rushed, with less than five minutes spent on my kidney health and no discussion of kidney symptoms. Instead, the doctor focused on unrelated issues like my heart and even performed a GI exam, which didn’t seem necessary for a nephrology visit. Labs that were promised were never submitted, and the delay was blamed on a technical issue. But I was able to complete a lab test submitted by another doctor that related to my kidneys and when my test results came back elevated, my concerns were dismissed by Dr. Ray and I was told to wait nine months for a follow-up. Rather than addressing my issues, the doctor suggested I see another nephrologist, delaying my care further. Overall, the experience felt inefficient and frustrating, forcing me to chase down labs, results, and follow-ups on my own.

No bedside manner; and, cruel person.

I have been taking my wife to her appointments. The first time I met Dr. Ray, I was very impressed. He took all of the time we needed to ask questions. We never felt hurried or rushed. He was very knowledgeable about his field. He also genuinely cared. I wish all doctors were as qualified and caring as Dr. Ray. We're lucky to have found him.... What a great man!
