Dr. Evan Lance Schiff, MD

This practice is known as the "office of the $1,000 check-up". I wish I'd known that before I went. I had a physical with Ralph Rosenberg who, upon my leaving, actually said "Just keep doing what you're doing. Great physical." The claim gets processed, and he's apparently submitted charges for things I never had, let alone discussed with him. I notify the carrier, then proceed to get several nasty phone messages from him. I leave the practice. I wait for him to retire. I call recently to rejoin, hoping the new guy Evan Schiff will be better (not so money-hungry, or arrogant, and no photos of himself all over the waiting room like Rosenberg did). When I call, I'm told that Rosenberg put notes in the file so that Schiff won't see me. I was hoping Schiff would be better, or at least try to do the right thing. I guess I was wrong.

Listens to me. Best practice in the area.

I would recommend dr schiff to all my friends. In fact i am having my husband transfer to this practice too. Definitely one of the best in the area. There are not many private docs in the area.

Not many doctors like this around. He listens to me, he gives good advice and I trust him with my health.

I've only been seeing Dr. Schiff as my internist for a year, but I would certainly recommend him. My cardiologist recommended him and I was glad he did. He has a great practice.

I transferred to Avon from Dr. Schiff's old practice. It was worth it. His new practice is much more personal and friendly. He is very professional.

Dr. Schiff has been my doctor for years. He is very nice and answers all my questions. I transferred with him from his old office in West Hartford because its so hard to find a good doctor.
