Has kept me alive

I had an appointment today with Dr Selsky and he took his time with me and listend to my concerns I called this morning and couldn’t believe he fitted me in this afternoon He is so understanding and a really great Doctor and person.

I have been a patient of Dr Selsky for 10 years. He has shown willingness to both guide my care, as well as accommodate my preferences for sometimes the unconventional approach. He does not rush our appointments and shows genuine concern. I trust him as my partner in managing my cardio health needs.

Dr. Selsky has been my dad's cardiologist since he had a major heart attack in 2002. His diagnoses are accurate, he is conservative in treatment when necessary, and incredibly caring. I'm not that concerned about the wait time to see Dr. Selsky because he's probably being as generous with his time seeing that patient as when he sees my dad. He listens to my dad talk about things other than his health. When my father was hospitalized last year, Dr. Selsky saw my dad's name on the roster and made a point of stopping by to see him during his morning rounds. He is an old-fashioned doctor in a young, well-trained physician. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Having a heart attack while Dr. Selsky was practicing in Phoenix, with complications that most patients don't survive; this doctor is responsible for saving my life. The problem was that my blood pressure was too low to operate on me and it was Dr. Selsky who brought me back to the brink in order for me to have a bypass and fix other complcations. I forever owe my life to this man's skills, and his dedication to medicine.
