Dr. Evan Skow, MEDICAL, DOCTOR, MD

I struggled with symptoms of ADHD for 49 years and was repeatedly mis-diagnosed because I am a woman. dr Skow quickly and professionally saw through the poor previous dx and made his own determination, and it has helped me greatly. He’s a thorough doctor, and very kind. The only challenges I have had are with wait times to get an appointment, which sadly is common in Santa Fe. Office staff are personable, but if you need adjustments to anything between visits it can be hard to get through, it feels like the practice needs better administrative processes. That is a separate issue and should not reflect on the quality of the doctor.

Seeing Doctor Skow is like having an addicted lover. He will schedule appointments in your name, and forget to call and tell you of the appointment. They will make appointments, yet if you call to check on the appointment date, they will not call you back, no matter how many times you contact them. They will leave you in situations like this without medication. They will do all of these things to a PTSD victim, who has anxiety issues about leaving the house and making calls to people in general. They have absolutely no respect for your medical symptoms. They practice in a manner that exacerbates them as opposed to helping. I have lived in the poorest states in the Union. Bar none, Santa Fe has the most incompetent, lazy, unsanitary, uncaring, and arrogant doctors and medical staff of any place I have ever lived. There should be negative stars for the medical people here. I will not call them professionals. You don’t leave a psychiatric patient in limbo all of the time with the ground… always shifting between their feet. It would be a joke, if it was the least bit funny. It isn’t.
